Proposals

Ramp is an exhibition space located in the Department of Media Arts at the Waikato Institute of Technology, Hamilton, New Zealand. Ramp Gallery aims to foster critical dialogue and current practices in art. It aims to maintain high artistic, academic and research standards throughout its activities. Ramp welcomes proposals from artists and curators. We are currently seeking exhibitions and events for our 2008 programme. Applicants should familiarise themselves with Ramp's policy and floor plan available below.

Proposals should include:
  1. An outline of the project, including aims and outcomes
  2. An outline of the equipment required and any logistical considerations
  3. A budget
  4. Supporting material
  5. An up-to-date Curriculum Vitae
Ramp Gallery provides the following:
  1. Publicity, including press release and design, printing and distribution of invitations
  2. An opening function, including food and beverages
  3. Security for the work while it is in Ramp
  4. Some equipment. This will depend on the specific project and equipment availability
  5. Assistance with organisation and installation of the exhibition
  6. Documentation of the exhibition in digital format
